This video is near and dear to my heart. Paul Cardall put this together to bring awareness to those who have or continue to struggle with congenital heart disease. Paul is currently waiting for a heart transplant and has been dealing with this disease all of his life. He is an incredible musician and his music is so beautiful and inspiring. One of his songs is actually the background music for this video. Our little Truman is featured at about the seven and a half minute mark. It is amazing to me to see how many little children have had to endure such a serious surgery at such a young age. Not that I thought we were the only ones, but it is comforting to see how many are doing so well at various ages. Please watch, but be warned, you may need a tissue or two at hand.
Note: The video posted a bit wide for my blog, so if you can't see all the words, just right click on the video and select "show all". that should work better for you. If that doesn't work, click HERE and watch it on You Tube

What a touching video... I needed more then just a couple of tissues. My brother was born with the same thing your little Truman was born with and when my niece was a couple of months old they found her defect. (ALCAPA) Anyway, I love modern medicine and amazing doctors... I'm glad Truman is doing so well! Thanks for posting that!

I should have heeded your warning about the tissues. My niece has tetralogy of fallot, she's 10 months old. There are lots of prayers being said for these babies, and they are just so beautiful.
