ICU C U Later.

Truman graduated from the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit to the Surgical Recovery Floor where we get our own room with a pull out chair bed, a bathroom and some privacy. Kaiti and I spent the night there trying to sleep. There is really only room for one, so with the extra hour from daylight savings time, we got about an hour of sleep.
Truman rarely complains/cries, but he growls a lot of the time. Kinda sounds like a miniature Frankenstein monster. It fits since it is close to Halloween and he does have a nice scar.
He is bright eyed and loves his binkie again. He has a couple of tests to see how he would do with oral feedings, but his only tube is his feeding tube (and 1 IV that is just there, nothing is going through it.)

I am pretty sure we are on the shorter side of our stay. Hopefully not too much longer and we will be home.

YAY Truman! How nice to have your own room, and to be getting all the tubes out of him! Keep up the good work, little guy!

We are so excited for all of you. It's cute, the boys all gather around the computer to hear the Truman Update. We are all so happy for you all.

I hope you're home soon, too! :) Sorry there isn't more room for you two! It is pretty wonderful that's he's out of ICU though, even if you don't fit incredibly comfortably. :)
