Home Again. Home...Oh Wait Home for the First Time

Sorry that their haven't been many posts lately. Truman is doing better. He is trying real hard to keep his food down, but the biggest and best news is that he is home now. Kaiti was able to take him home today in the early afternoon. The hospital finally gave us the boot. He still has his feeding tube, but that is it. He has been drinking from the bottle, but the hard work tuckers him out so the rest he gets through his tube. Hopefully he will start gaining some more weight. He still weighs 7.5 lbs. It is such a relief to be out of the hospital and free of the wires. (though we do miss the monitors letting us know that everything is oke-dokey.)

Posts will probably be a little less frequent now that we are home, but we are so glad to have so many people showing their love for Truman.

Katie,
Tricia has been keeping me updated with everything going on with Truman. I am so excited for you guys that he's finally home. I'm sure you are so relieved and excited to have him all to yourself. Tricia called the day it happened and she was so excited to tell me. I'm so glad all is well.
