Last Saturday was the annual company Lagoon day for Del Sol. As always, a good time was had by all. We enjoyed good food, good company, good weather and even won a prize from the raffle. It was actually my ticket that won. We got an awesome Cuisinart Ice Cream Maker that whips up a quart of ice cream in about a half an hour. Of course we had to try it out promptly, so yesterday we made up a batch of mango ice cream. It was delish! This is actually the second time in my life I have won an ice cream maker. When I was five (or six) years old, I won one of those that uses the ice and rock salt from a contest at a local bank. I am so excited to whip up all sorts of ice cream flavors this summer. what? how awesome does that kid look in that hat?! What a handsome kid. He looks really wise too, like he knows all the answers to this crazy life. I love lagoon. Looks like a fun time!
